About the Balaji Music Academy

Balaji Music Academy was founded by Vatsala Mehra and she is currently the Director of the Academy. Balaji Music Academy is a unique institution that offers classes in Indian Classical Vocal Music, Ghazals, Bhajans, Pop Music and music of general interest. The uniqueness of this Academy is the teaching methods. Students are taught on a one-to-one basis. This method results in a program that is unique to each student. Each student's progress is tracked individually. The students are taught to sing to the accompaniment of a Keyboard/Harmonium, Tabla, Tanpura, etc. The students are given the opportunity to record their accomplishments and even present it on National Television.Students of all ages (above five years old) are welcome. Balaji Music Academy does not discriminate on the basis of age, religion, race, sex or national origin.
